The sweater is worked from the top down with double thread. First cast on stitches for the back piece. The back piece is worked back and forth to under the sleeves. Then stitches are cast on along each shoulder to the right and left side of the front. Increase stitches for the v-neck before the right and left side of the front piece are knitted together into one front piece. The front piece is worked back and forth to under the sleeves, before the piece is joined and worked in the round to full length. Pick up stitches around each armhole for sleeves. Work sleeves in the round and decrease to a narrower sleeve at the end. Finish in stockinette stitch with purl edge or continue in stockinette stitch down the sleeves, front and back.
The number of balls is based on the given dimensions. If you want longer garments, please remember that you may need extra yarn.
