Tides is the wool and silk version of Holstgarn. It combines the softness of pure virgin wool with the shine and elegance of silk; the result is a very beautiful yarn.
It can be machine washed (wool program - ambient temperature) and will tend to soften with each wash. This wool has not been washed and still contains some spinning oil, which will disappear on the first wash.
It is knitted in single yarn (needle 3-3.5) or double yarn (needle 4-4.5).
